Both the awards are instituted in the loving memory of Professor (Dr.) Shiv Raj Singh Bedi.

Conditions
  1. In order to qualify for the award, the paper must be presented at the Conference.
  2. Students, research scholars below the rank of Associate Professor /Senior Lecturer /Reader are entitled to be considered for the award for the student/ research scholar. Those holding the post of Professor, Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Reader will not be considered for the award.
